Splinter Cell

I'm big fan of espionage, in all forms really. TV shows, movies, books, videogames. Everything from 24, The Bourne Identity films, James Bond, Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell...I'm a fan.
This is a one page comic based on Sam Fisher...being Sam Fisher.
The next two images was me messing around to get the Nightvision Goggle look that Sam, and we, see through usually. If you've played it, then you know what I'm talking about.

Sketch Book 1

Just two sketches of a supporting character from one of my books. At first, I was having second thoughts of having such a physically scarred character in one of my stories, didn't want it to be grotesque or feel like "shock" value or anything. But after watching a report on CNN on returning Iraq veterans, and how so many of them have suffered incredible injuries in the line of duty...suddenly it seemed to make sense to have a military character, in a military/espionage-based story to have injuries as visible as these. I went from shrapenel scars to burn scars, for story reasons of course.
Still having a tough time nailing down a pattern to constantly work from page to page, and panel to panel, consistently.

HURM.
All right, ran some "test" scans on an average A4 size scanner.
Mixed results, clearly. Even my A4 size sketches didn't come out quite so jazzy.
The cut up comics are from the A3 size artboards that needed to be scanned half n half. I hate it, so I'll rescan every single piece of thing again once I get my A3 Mustek scanner next week.
